This week we will be studying the following words:
happy quiet worried annoyed sad upset peaceful excited sleepy mad focused frustrated scared angry curious afraid Students will learn and interact in different ways, depending on their needs. Some student will play picture Bingo with the words and accompanying images, others will write and share times they felt different emotions, specifically as it relates to being new to a school and making a welcoming environment to others when they arrive, and others will receive flashcards with the words in their Native Language to use as a reference during class activities. Please review words to reinforce their meanings and use it as a conversation starter about their school day. "When did you feel most FOCUSED/HAPPY?PEACEFUL today? Why?" instead of "How was your day?"
