To continue with our fables unit, we will be practicing and performing a reader's theatre of a famous fable. Students will practice the reading skills of fluency, vocabulary and comprehension while reading the Aesop's fable, The Peacock and the Crane. Students will practice different roles using voice inflection and expression, make a back drop of the setting based on context clues, and create puppets for each character. We will video the performance and share it with parents via class Dojo. If you are not on Class Dojo and would like to see the performance, please email at [email protected].
