We are excited to welcome 2 new Syrian students to Ray School. We could really use a Kurdish speaker to help with the transition and advise staff about cultural nuances. We want to make sure their transition is smooth and we do everything we can for these students strive!
NLU is very excited to start an ESL cohort at Colman Office (47th and State) on April 11, 2017!
Tuition for this cohort is discounted at $300 per semester hour vs $450 if they would take these courses on campus. Teachers will be saving $2,700 by enrolling at Colman ESL cohort! In addition, they can apply all six ESL courses towards a Masters in Specialized Endorsements or a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. If teachers wish to complete a Master degree once they have completed the ESL endorsement, they will have 6 years to complete the degree and the application is totallyFREE. Furthermore, both of our programs are eligible for the Teach Grant (up to $8000of grant money). As you can see, there are several options to help make this program affordable!
